Thumbs up My thanks to the sys admins & others

To whoever was on the team that fixed the Pelican Parts Forums - THANKS!!!

As was previously posted, there were problems that went on for several days (at least) gradually getting worse & worse until the forums site was unusable.

Like many, many others, I use this site as an important source of technical information & advice (it never ceases to amaze me how much great information has accumulated here over the years) and was more than disappointed to not have this resource readily available.

Luckily this did not impact the parts shopping portion of the Pelican web site, so I could still easily order the parts I needed!

Again, thanks!

Well, it's only temporary. It'll slow down again. Give it a couple of weeks.

Indeed, thanks to the Admins and anyone else involved in maintaining and protecting our site. I wish we could send a lightning bolt to the scammers and fry their equipment - maybe them too.

I am glad they keep this up

Getting another spare key. I think the groovy 917 style one is actually cheaper than the stock one

Do "the powers that be" seek feedback? I feel like I've overstayed my welcome with some of my threads and posts over the past few years... and that hasn't been my intent ... just venting frustration.

Only 1 database error right before the 5:15 EST "reset" this morning .... CAU went from 5K back down to 200 as usual.

Site is "normal" now tho' ... for the most part

Thank you all .... particularly Seahawk ... it ain't braggin' if you can back it up with true results

Thanks guys!

How is it I always discover great voices years later or after they have died?

Yes, thanks!
John, most of the time I'll make a post and it just sits there, as if it's waiting to go up to the mother ship. I use Firefox, and when this happens, I open another window (call it window B) and navigate to PPOT. The post is there in the queue in window B, as it should be, while what I typed in window A is still sitting there like it's waiting to be added to the queue.
