My wife found these at her mom's house in a drawer. They were kept, even though no one knows what they are. Yea, there are two of them, identical.

One side is very smooth, but has some minor pitting from age. The other side is a rough casting. The tip does rotate or lift up, and the screw looks to be the same age, and it fits perfectly.

I can only guess that it was part of a drawer or hinged top.

What do you think they are? We really don't know.
