My comments didn't have as much to do with the load it is capable of holding. It has everything to do with a load that is accidentally imparted into the frame in a non-orthogonal direction.

Thanks Scott. It just sits there and the dolly wheels aren't locked, I got 6000 lb capacity casters that roll very easily (can push with one hand), so I don't see any possibility of a non-orthogonal force impacting the dolly.

Shaun it's the unforeseen things that are gonna get ya.

Imagine you're rolling your dolly around and all of a sudden something you missed stops the wheels or one leg. You have a lot of potential energy stored in that weight way up at the top of the dolly. There's your non-orthogonal loading.
A body in motion tends to stay in motion.
Once it starts coming down there's no stopping it.
I just want to give you the benefit of my experience of moving spacecraft around on air pads.
You want to get that braced sooner than later.

I hear you my friend. The thing is the dolly is staying put until November though I will have to move it when I carpet the shop later this summer.

I liked the raw asphalt better, I have a feeling this coating will come off easily.
