What is this vehicle? (besides really cool)

I see this thing running around town from time to time. It's awesome! What the hell is it? Jeep? Toyota?

Cool, thanks.

I'm disappointed that it took you 4 mins. I'll give you the benefit of a doubt that maybe it's your dinner time. :D

A friend of mine had one of these. I took many a trip up the mountain to go skiing when I lived in Idaho..

Yer gonna have to turn in your "car guy card". I can't believe you've never seen one of those. The cool factor is through the roof!

Yep, I don't remember ever seeing one before. I think what makes this one REALLY stand out is the two-tone paint and beefy tires. And I think the wagon form is at least twice as cool at the pick-up version. I may have run across one as a kid, but back then it was all cars, muscle, rods, and sports cars. As I've aged my horizons have expanded.

Early 50s Willie's station wagon, considered to be the first SUV. So cool. A dinosaur but a cool dinosaur

And a butchered one. I had a flat grill 1949. That was until the hood flew up at 40MPH. They didn't have the external latches found on the Jeep. Rough as hell so shook the latch loose.

Another cool, lesser know Jeep model was the Jeepster.

There are a couple of really nice built-up ones around here with ton axles, roll cages and all the cool, effective stuff for our rocks

On the subject of esoteric ancient Jeep products, my least favorite: The FC.

That pickup truck is so sweet! Great color for it too.
