What's been attacking my black rubber hose .... snake?
A black rubber hose at my parents' house stretched out down the sloping back yard ... used to be a 100'... last night it was attacked. It's in pieces and most are clean bites ... not chews. I'll get pics and set out a cam tomorrow. I couldn't believe it... many small peices... something did NOT like that black snake! What is it... 'coon, groundhog... got 'em there... not a fox... and no mom... not one of the deer herds ;).
What say ye? |
A teen crocodile that goes out at night causing trouble. That's my bet.

Snappers getting revenge. :)

One eyed, one horned flying purple hose eater

Squirrel, mice, rats, all have done damage to my equipment and vehicles on jobsites, pool & spa wiring, etc.

I'm not saying it was me. But when I was a kid I was mowing someone's lawn and there was a garden hose stretched out. I thought I could bunny hop the lawnmower over the hose. It didn't work out so well.

Sounds like my wife has been mowing your lawn. :(

LOL ... she IS good! A couple of months ago it was 100' and used for watering trees ... I found it one day with a 15' end, and a 6" piece... no mowing, etc. .... totally stumped??? Had the rest attached to a 50 gal rain bbl.... for a day or so and noticed it had been moved. Then yesterday I found this... and many sections are now... gone missing today... here's what's left .... with about 25' still attached to the bbl.
Pics are too big... about 8 pieces .... clean "bites" too. I'll try again... |

Raccoons. They make little puncture marks looking for water & grubs. They tip over the bird bath, dig up the yard, knock over pots & talk to each other at 3AM under our bedroom window.
