I have a Venmo account I have used to send money to friends/family. This Venmo account has my debit card information but not my bank account numbers. Now I want to sell a couple of things and the website classified forum I will use allows only PayPal or Venmo for payment. PayPal deleted my account there at my request because my bank account information was in their database.

Question: If someone pays me through Venmo, how can I get that money into my bank (credit union) account. Will it go into my bank account simply because Venmo has my debit/VISA card number?

No, you have to transfer it from Venmo to your bank/atm card. Its free if you accept a couple days delay, there's a charge (1.5% or something) if immediate.
You can do it from the app.
