Interesting. The valve covers look like SBC (2 bolts on the side closest to the exhaust ports and the "Chevrolet" script). But the exhaust port locations are not consistent with SBC. I think that's a '60s, truck, so not a 348 (besides, the size and shape are WAY off for that).

I think it's got to be a BBC, but I think the valve covers normally have more hold down bolts. I do think that there were some "truck only" big blocks. Maybe they had different heads since they were not built for horse power like the car motors.

That just goes to show how long I've been out of the V-8 game, since before they came out with the LS series.

Looks line an LS with a Holley single plane EFI intake, lifter valley cover and SBC valve cover adapters?
