Teri Garr was a prophet

Two big grocery chains in MA are lowering prices. Shaw's has a great deals program on their app. It definitely encourages spending. Timely as we just took a trip back to 1983 and watched Mr. Mom a few nights ago.

Stop & Shop announces plans to lower prices across Massachusetts

I clicked the link. It goes to a tv news’ website. There were so many pop-ups I couldn’t read the whole story - something about a grocery price war in Boston. I tried to read it for about 15 seconds, then clicked off.

just watched mr mom as well. Been trying to watch alot of classic moves of my child hood with my girls over the summer. I forgot about the male strip club scene my 8yo was very confused!! Why are boys dancing in a bikini!

We liked mr mom but not our favorite so far:

Who can forget one of the greatest and most quoted scenes in cinematic history?

That’s a cool project with the scorecard! Probably not on your list, but maybe try one of the Wallace and Gromit movies- my favorite is
The Wrong Trousers. Cute and charming.

Ashen, I'm on board with your assessment of Princess Bride.

Lilly kind of nailed it with the 5.6

That picture is awesome as well!

Re Princess Bride: The book, by William Goldman, is one of the finest tomes ever penned.

I kid you not. The movie is fine, the book off the charts.

Yes, I see a scientist in the making

LOl I'll forward to praise to miss lilly. She was teetering between 5 and 6 for a while, i denied her request for an intermediate value for the first several movies, but gave in at that point.

Princess bride to me was decent and more amusing than hilarious which is why I had to go 5. I have caught some grief from everyone I have shown that sheet to though.

I get grief for my opinion, re: PB, too. (But I also like Dylan's version of "The Boxer" better than S&G's, and that is NOT a popular viewpoint.)

I don't think a thread has gone off the rails as quickly as this one did. Apologies to Shaun.

+1

I'm going to try to bring this back on topic.

1:20 in for her dancing with Annette. Buster Keaton is the old indian guy in the beginning. 1964-ish
