Have you been following the Epstein story?
 

I haven't followed the Epstein thing mostly because 11th and 12th grade, work, boss, you get it, but a survivor press conference came on today while sanding some nickel. Transfixed. 1.5 hours worth your time, not political with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Ro Khanna together with Massie leading the presser (light-hearted quip at the end) so please keep this parf-free. I shouldn't be so naive, but I can't believe this hasn't been fully adjudicated. Worse, it may never be.

Worth watching.

One of the victims who went and testified or met with the representatives is a good friend. I've known her close to 30 years, so I think that the abuse and/or trafficking happened before that when she was very young. Sad deal all around but glad that someone in government is finally listening to them. :(

Agree. Victims apparently want to put together their own list(s), which MTG said she would read out loud. I'd like to see that, but not sure that's a good idea, outing people w/o due process.

She is a wonderful person with a good heart who sees the best in people. It's amazing how you cannot judge a book by its cover; her cover is that she's a Russian princess type who grew up in London but she is truly good.

Hopefully we find out the truth. The fact that this story has been consistently brushed under the rug and not investigated by law enforcement or the media for years is a disgrace. It should be the story of the decade, and everyone should be clamoring for justice.

Read an article today about a foot sniffer that ran over a woman after offering $1k to smell her feet. She declined, offered to sell her sneaks for the $1k. He got pissed over that.

That’s Kind of on topic,,,, people are into weird sheeeit and usually I’m like, whatever gets you freaky but, no kids, no sexual assault, no rape. So, I’m all for victims naming names regardless of indictments or whether they hold a Government office. If the named feel like they’re being slandered, let them prove otherwise! Time to clear the air.

No doubt about that.

And my legendary cynicism for all things leadership in this country makes me think that the current goings on are going to amount to little more than theater (no prosecutions, no big name players outed for at least some public shaming, and so forth). Hopefully I am wrong.

I’m hopeful but time will tell. It’s painfully obvious that we live in a two tiered justice system and I desperately want to see that dismantled.

The demise of the multi-tiered justice system would end civilization as we know it.

Well, AFAIK, every civilization there ever was had a multi-tiered justice system.

The scale of this thing is just incredible.

Everybody that mattered had to know what was happening... And yet what were the authorities doing about it?
- Why would they let this happen?

I watched for 25 minutes .... will watch the rest later. Everyone should.

I don't think I've ever given MTG much attention ... as I generally despise both political parties, and not a fan of political BS when it matters ... on either side.

THIS matters.
