As an engineer I am programmed to lack empathy, but I will go back to one point that Shaun made about education. I think there should be a mandatory home economics class in every high school nationwide. Kids should learn basic cooking, food health, shopping, money management, investing, debt, retirement, etc. Life 101. It’s sad how few schools even offer these sort of practical courses anymore.
