My Youngest Son Just Bought a 2009 V8 Vantage
He's just kind of scratching an itch, only bought it as a "toy car" so to speak, and fully understands what he is getting into. I'm excited for him. I may be accompanying him to the Bay Area to help him drive it home. Another great father/son road trip may be forthcoming, if our schedules align.

Awesome! We need a full report when you experience it. You obviously raised him right!

(Maybe say no if he wants to Isle of Mann MC race) |
They are good looking cars. Can he talk like James Bond? Introduce himself with his last name, then full name.
|
Hmmmm...maybe hire a dominatrix session for him before you leave the bay area? I mean, he's obviously a masochist. ;)

There is a killer fruit stand in Dixon that is worth the stop. On I 80 just East of the 505 connector, a few minutes past where you would turn North

For me... A car must be desirable above everything else including reliability (within reason).
So your son should enjoy the "Aston Martin" and make sure it gets everything it needs to make it as reliable as possible. If nothing else he'll learn a whole bunch about cars. Worse case; occasionally your son will have to call for a flat bed tow truck. |
Very cool! We need pics and a report!

First Saturday of the month there is the monthly R Gruppe meet up at the old EASY. Don't know your schedule but if it works out I might see you.
|
"Austin Martin" will be a term you'll soon get used to hearing.
|
Cheapest one to fix when it breaks. And it will.
But he’s going to enjoy it regardless. |
Reliable is boring…:)
