This is an off topic board subject? IMHO, you should have posted this on the tech board. That said, I used to take my (soft flannel cotton. dunno if this would work with the other fabrics) to a laundromat that had a large capacity front loading washer. Several years ago we bought a large capacity front loading washer, so I wash it at home now...warm water, regular cycle.

I'll just add, to Pauls good advice, to use a slow spin cycle. Mine tore in a couple of places. . .likely because it couldn't take the weight of the trapped water during the spin. (Front loading, 1500rpm high spin)

I wash my Stormshield cover in the clothes washer (we have a front-loader) and dry it in the clothes dryer (ditto) - use settings appropriate for delicate undies and all seems to be well.
