When I get gas, I can't just stop pumping when it cuts off. I will keep going until the total (cost) is at least a multiple of $.25. Stopping on $.50 is OK, but stopping right on the dollar really feels right.

(Note: I cheat. I usually know at all times exactly how much and in what denomination the change in my pocket is so I feel for the correct coins). A hot babe fell in love with me once because of that. It didn’t last. |

I face all the soda, beer, water bottles in the fridge so that all the labels are facing the same. I also do this for canned food in the cupboards. I just think it looks better.

If I try it ends up on my shoes. :D |
Windshields. They have got to be clean, especially on the inside.
I have one of these for both cars I drive. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1762893105.jpg I use glass wipes on the pad as well, easier. |

Taking sister to airport, late and expedited again of course, halfway there I heard "where is my phone?" Missed that flight despite best efforts. After finishing a long job, got home and no keys. Left them back in the other door. My nemesis brain had decided to alter the game plan and be real slick that day. My cruise control brain did not get the memo. The last, I confess it's happened. |

@Seahawk, I agree and I like that. I just bought one. Thanks.
Oh, I was supposed to post another OCD thing. How about I can't stand clothes left in the dryer. They need to be out and folded. My wife is bad about that. Not just recently either, her whole life. |

With the 911, it is like filling a bucket, pump shuts off it is FULL. The El Camino might take a little more, but it will dump on the ground if I try to get a bit more in. I do remember back the "good ol days" driving my 36 HP 1960 VW Bug and stopping at the gas station. The attendant came out, pumped the gas, checked the oil, washed the windshield, checked the tire pressure, and gave me green stamps for my mom. I was outraged the first time I had to pay THREE whole dollars for a fill-up! I could dig in the family couch for changes and have enough to go out cruising on Friday night. |
^^^ I always pay at the pump with a card too ... nice even dollar amounts is all that matters ... it really does ;)

My wife thinks this is OCD. I think it's just logical and efficient, and I think her problem is she just has no respect for tools. :D
I always put the kitchen knives back in specific slots, and when I use one, I use it for its intended purpose. To my mind, each knife has "it's" slot and needs to be put back in it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1763673479.jpg She puts any knife in any open slot, and uses the first knife she grabs for whatever task she's up to. She'll spread butter or cut fruit with the bread knife - not a tragedy, but I have to wash the knife before I can use it to slice bread. Yes, I'm a crotchety old man. No apologies for that. |

^^^ Yes...I always have two or three twenties in each car's console storage for emergency.
I've had to use it a couple times when forgetting the credit card. |

When you travel light, out of state with just a drivers license and a debit card, this can get your attention. |

Surprised noone has mentioned that it can mess up the emissions systems filling past the cut off.
Unless you have a 2011 GM pickup that cuts off every 5 seconds... 2 cards. Definately. Helped me out numerous times. |
Always have to look back and relock whatever vehicle Im driving.
Had the good sense to bring a check with me to DMV for a driver's license renewal. Card reader wasn't working. That's not a recurring thing though. |
