Stuff so ridiculous that it's good

Perhaps Plan 9 from Outer Space is the best example of this.

What are some of your favorites? I like this scene from the original Star Trek.

Slapstick comedy lives for this purpose, but it's intentional.

I just watched the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I expected to ridicule it with my daughter. Instead, we both enjoyed it.

It Came from Outerspace is next. I can't imagine it is good.

The movie Teenagers from Outer Space

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Slime City (1988)

1:11.00 in to around 1:17.00 if you respect good cinema.

Elvis from Outer Space
Space Babes from Outer Space
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Plan 9 from Outer Space
Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space

You know they are all awesome. Here's a pic from one of them. Try to guess which movie it came from. Take your time.

Mars Attacks is pretty bad and yet funny. When Slim Whitman saves the world! ;)

Some mentioned were good. Body Snatchers (and the original Fly) scared the crap out of me.

How do you judge the good factor though? The bad aspects of the stinkers have to make it good. Plan 9 I have heard that it's worth the watch long ago.

IMDB score"

Good
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) 7.7
Hundreds of Beavers 7.6
Black Lagoon 6.9
Mars Attack 6.3
Killer Klowns 6.2

Tolerable
Slime City 5.2 (Dog's breakfast to me but sooo campy)

Bad
Elvis from Outer Space 4.2
Space Babes from Outer Space 4.3
Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space 4.0

Rediculous
Plan 9 from Outer Space 3.9
Teenagers from Outer Space 3.9

The 1960 version of Little Shop of horrors is funny, and bad.

At one point the monster plant even says, in a very low tone, feed me!.

My brother and I used that a lot when we were hungry. I may have to find it on some streaming channel if possible.

Mars Attacks? There is NOTHING bad about that. High cinema!!!

I’ll check it out On Netflix, which we subscribe to. I hope it lives up to the recommendation. Who doesn’t love a heartwarming story about warm, furry beavers?
