Yes, well my in-laws did and it was a disaster. It was a fully cooked Thanksgiving meal they scheduled for delivery on Thanksgiving thinking it would be ready to serve.

I was able to rescue it but dinner was about 2 hours late.

Another time they bought Thanksgiving dinner from the country club but I think that may have been during Covid, I'm not certain. It was fine but nothing to write home about.

No bueno

I would just pre make everything and freeze it.

Finish with stir fry or grill something the day of.

Have not. But if I was looking, I'd consider Honey Baked.
Prime Rib with sides.

We have had Christmas catered from our favorite Indian food restaurant and the food was great.

I think that Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner would be a bit different. Other than a roasted turkey, the rest has so much variation from place to place, family to family, etc... There are an infinite variety of "stuffings". Some I like, some are OK, and some I do not want. Most folks have very specific ideas about what they want, usually tied to what they grew up with. I think that sort of dinner would be tough unless you just didn't have any preconceived notions of what Christmas dinner should be.
