There are many other roads in that area which offer good riding and aren't as crowded. The Tail is knucklehead mecca.

I feel bad for the u-haul driver. They gotta unload/reload all that crap they were hauling into another u-haul truck just to have to unload it again when they get to wherever they are going.

It looks like a nice road but the traffic looks like people leaving a Dodgers game. I thought that our Angeles Crest highway was bad on the weekends…it’s not like that.

This is funny ... not for the Ferrari driver though.

I thought this Tail of the Dragon story was interesting:

Spend a ton of time in the Carolinas. I avoid the Tail for all the things you see in these videos. Way too many bad drivers looking to make social media content often at the expense of others.

W Va is a driver's mecca. Sparse traffic and some of the best roads in the country. The Dragon is a ridiculous 1st/2nd gear circus parade.

I used to live in Cumming, Georgia, and my buddy and I used to drive our cars around Dahlonega, Blood Mountain, etc. Good roads with no traffic.

Around 9 years ago on my way to a NASCAR race I made a side trip to Stuart VA. to visit the Wood Brothers Museum. I was in my Z06 and found a road with more switchbacks and elevation changes that it wore me out.The best part was that there was no traffic.
