OT-Going to VEGAS--where to go! Quick!
before this gets moved! I'm going to Vegas this weekend with some buddies and I havent been there in awhile--any places I must go see? Were all single guys. Looking for the places that 'make you want to come back to'. Were all adults so lets hear it all!

to keep this ON-TOPIC....rent a Boxster while you are there!!! did any of you hear about the Vince Neil (motley crue) - Las Vegas brothel story. sort of funny. you know you are a washed up rocker when you have to pay for it.

Only take money into a casino that you'd be willing to toss into a river...advice given to me by a cousin who used to work for a casino. He was right...

Free shows: water show in front of bellagio - air show (carnival-style - be on the 2nd floor to catch beads if interested) inside the rio - they even have dancers performing on platforms there - fremont street light show (they have 2 band stand areas and people dance in the street - not the "bellagio" crowd but can't beat the prices for margaritas) first is disco style then a trippy jimmy hendrix style light show (i had a blast on Fremont Street). then there's the tried and true pirate ship & lava mountain at treasure island and mirage.
If you go to the Tropicana (across from MGM) they have a free pull machine where you could win tickets to Folies Bergere (which I did the last time I was there but didn't have any interest in using ![]() you could also do a gondola ride at the venetian - live statues, mini "Stomp" performance and aria singers in the grande canal shoppe area. also the roller coaster at New York New York - inside and upstairs they have an adult arcade area with the racing seat games!! You could also try rock climbing at GameWorks near MGM Restaurant and food?? EMERIL'S at MGM!! also there's the seafood buffet at Rio and the bellagio buffet (LONG lines!!!) drinks are free if you're playing, otherwise expect to pay out the wazoo for alcohol. club/dancing action is at Rio and Hard Rock. Lots of bachelor/bachelorette parties. and the pools are awesome at Hard Rock with a lazy river and beach-style pools although other hotel pools are great too during the day. Cirque du soleil is just awesome (Mystere & O)!!!!! blue man group is fun too! Danny Gann is supposed to be the "hot" show of the moment I think they still have the porsche boutique at Caesar's Palace.... |

If your friends are like mine, you want Olympic Gardens.
Look it up on the web.

nASS-car experience at the Sahara--there's this great racecar simulator where you can race your friends. It's like $15 or something. Plus, you can race in an F-1 style car rather than the Nascar vehicles they have there, so it's not all bad...
The movements are hydraulically activated, so if you go fast enough your head will spin when you're done...
