Ebay misrepresentation/scam with a Pelican members 911.

Searching through ebay ads I noticed Bill Douglas' SC is trying to be sold as a

california car. There is no mention of the picture being used for illustration purposes. Looks like a potential scam. Bill confirmed that this is his car, with the new zealand plates, location and previous colour before he had it painted silver. I would hate to see any bidders lose out. Calling any ebay guys to ask a few questions of the seller and to keep us posted. Many thanks.

At the time of this post there is 6 days remaining on auction. There are 8 bids already. The sellers history is 100% positive feedback, but he has only ever bought in his 28 transactions. This is his first time as seller.

Tim emailed the seller and got some more pictures but no answers to his question. The porsche in the pics has CA plates and were of many angles of the car. I'm going to forward the email to Bill. Who knows why the guy used Bill's picture for his main ad. I still think that is odd though.

Bill posted this on the main forum. Plenty of people have asked questions of the seller. Weird that he didn't post the real car when he had photos of it.
