Escort Boat needed for Newport Beach to Catalina outrigger canoe race needed.

My outrigger canoe club is in need of an escort boat from Newport Beach to Catalina for the weekend of September 6-7, 2003. The job is to follow outrigger canoes as they race to Newport to Catalina on the 6th, and for the return race on the 7th. The boat is needed to follow the team outrigger and carry 3 members of a 9 person crew during the race. Every 20 minutes three of the members are dropped in the water and exchange with 3 members on the boat. A hugh party follows in Catalina and Newport folloing the race. Crews come from all over the world to compete. Additional information regarding the organization and past races may be found on the KOA website. Compensation is provided.
