Volvo meet pics

My Volvo club had our 1st annual East Coast meet this past weekend.. Although not P-cars there were lots of nice Volvo's out there including a 300+hp Volvo S60R

is there a volvo board similar to pelican? I have an immaculate 1800s, with some reasonable mods, goes like hell, completely stylish sculpture on wheels...has been used in photo shoots & etc, and unfortunately I don't use it, would love to find a place where I could sell it (I'm in an isolated part of the north east (but NO rust on the car; bare metal repaint). any thoughts on where to post it?

There is a pretty good amount of volvo related info on the internet. I never knew these cars had souch a following!

Anyway volvospeed.com is my hangout, they have a for sale section there.. You might also want to check out http://www.swedishengineering.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.pl I have found stuff on there before.

And of course you might want to post / e-mail me some pictures and info :-) edevansky@tnettravel.com

I also go to VolvoSpeed for my 850 Turbo. One of the moderators is a Service Tech at a Volvo Dealer. Really good info there.

I really like the 1800. Please post a few pics of yours.

Hi - thanks for the responses...let me know what you think. Of course the sale price vs what one has into it price is even worse than for P-cars...but at this point I just feel so bad to have her languishing (I drive her once every 10 days just to keep things going) that I really want to get this to someone who will use it.

these are not the greatest pics, some distortion, and the color is a bit off as well; rebuilt engine, custom header, redone suspension, redone brakes, decent sound system, way way too much in repainting it (that's where it got from being a fun thrasher to being a serious project)...it's a platinum silver gray, a real head turner. It doesn't have great off the line acceleration as we know....but once it's moving, and the carb opens all the way...it really hauls; it's a bit of a sleeper for a 34 year old!

Here's my friend Alex's S-70:

The car is chipped (almost hangs w/ my 911 ), sitting on 18" MAS Italy wheels with Bilsteins and H&R shocks and a kickin system. This car is the ultimate posse rolling mobile, because everyone laughs that it's a Volvo until we all get out
