Read Excel spreadsheet w/o Excel?

My home computer came with Word, but not office. I occationally receive email attachments in Excel format. Does anyone know of a Public domain/inexpensive reader or translater?

yep, ditto on the open office, star office also used to be free, but I believe Sun is charging for it now. good software nonetheless.
