Help Me Please I Need All Of It I Can

hello to all. im new here and i have to say i really love the bmw. but my main reason for the post is for some serious help. i have as of now a 88 thunderbird turbocoupe and im trying to do something that many of us turbocoupe fans want. that is bmw angeleye headlights. that is by far the best looking headlight made today and if anyone could assist me in this venture of customizing bmw lights into a bird i would more than love and appriciate it. dont get me wrong i plan on owning a bmw probably a 3 or 5 series soon but right now i need some major help. what year would work best and how would the wiring go. i want to make this work im putting more than 9,000$ into this car and this would set it off please take the time and help if you have any imput thanks alot if anyone needs to see these cars there on turbocoupe.org at the showroom

What a shame to alter the classic look of a turbocoupe...Sorry, I have no better advise for you than putting the $9K in a bimmer. Then, fill the headlight of the turbocoupe with gas and turn the lights on. And run Forrest, run...:D :D

I then have a far better advise: turbowhatever, keep your $9K, sell the turbocoupe for $5K, and you can buy a very nice Porsche 911 SC that will give you ever lasting enjoyment. Does that sound more reasonable ?

you could actually pick up a roadworthy sc for 9k...............

88' turbo coupe headlights are pretty big....kind of like a ford tempo.......
you may have better luck fitting in some benz lights......the bmw's are pretty narrow........

you could also buy a couple dodge omni glhs's for 9k......which will blow the doors off of a turbo coupe :D

well it sounds like so far everyone is an ass. thanks for nothing so far. all im trying to do is take a part of a great car and put it on what i think is a great car kinda like what customizing is. all i did is ask for a decent responce not stupid ass answers one more thing my bird- the one that is slow is putting out 450hp on a 4cyl motor. so please give me respectable advice not **** critiscim. if anyone else could please help without the peanut gallery thanks

Ok, look I'm sorry for the other guys behaviour, they are just plain childish. There is a really nice BMW pedal car that looks just like a real car but it's little and cute.

Hey! I resent that. I'm certainly not an ass... Well. OK... I am. But it's rude of you to point it out.

Turbo 4 ever, that has got to be the most off topic - off topic post I've ever seen! What on earth where you thinking? Oh, wait you've got ford turbo and your gonna sink $9k into it, that explains, alot.. good luck:eek:

For lack of anything better to do, I visited the NATO website, registered, and posted a request for pictures of a conversion like you initially mentioned. While the response so far has been lite, like 2, so far no one there has heard of this customization.

Now to be fair, if you were looking for information on putting Ford headlights into a BMW, someone here might be helpful (if that mod was a popular thing to do). In as much as the recipient of this transplant is the Ford, the knowledge base here might be smaller than , oh, say...the NATO BB.

You might find some BMW headlamps in the classified board. Worth a look. Other than that, all I can offer is to get a sawsall, a grinder and a gallon of bondo and have at it. And try to not let the magic smoke out of the thingy!

I think that everybody was trying to tell you that what you wanted to accomplish was ahhh...a bit out of the ordinary...stupid.. so they were reponding in kind to let you know. Now that just my opinion. To each his own.....
