Here is one for all of you who like to play "Name that car".

Here is a hint: It has 4 wheels, 2 in the middle, 1 in the front and 1 in the back!

The Miura chassis debut was in 1965 at the Turin auto show.
The Bertone bodied prototype was presented in March 1966 at the Geneva Auto show.
The first production Miura rolled out of the factory in March 1967.

The Miura did not have scissor-action doors.

Since the day is over, and since there is a new mystery car posted, I reveal now that the red/white car is a Fiat Turbina

***

The new mystery is a mystery to me. I've seen plenty of 3-wheel cars, but not a 4-wheel in that configuration. It looks composite, and it is RHD. I don't think asian, so I'm guessing English in origin?

Well, I fear that this may be to difficult to figure out.

Here is another hint.

The car was built in 1968 in Ilseworth, London.

Damn, your right. I don't know what I was thinking... Countach/Diablo doors are made to look like a bull's horns, and so are the front sills on the Miura's conventional doors...

I must have been half-asleep when I wrote that first post.

No it is not.

Here is another clue: It has an 1,800 cc "landcrab" engine.

Well the other funky cars from the UK were the Bond Nugs but those were three wheelers.

Can I google it ???

Well, your mention of "landcrab" makes me want to lean toward Austin. But I don't think that is right.

So many bizarre cottage industry cars in the UK... it's hard to nail one down.

Ervikingo, Bond had 4 wheelers as well, there's one here in town.

We should start a "name that car" thread. The one who names it gets to post the next challange.

Next clue: It was used in hill climb races and both the front AND the rear wheel steers.

True. After the war, every half talented mechanic was trying to be part of the reconstruction and revitalization effort. There were lots of short lived efforts, and even lots of one-offs.

Bond made several cars, and was around for quite a while. I have an advert for Bond from 1953 somewhere in my collection of junk. I guess the Bond Bug is best known.
