WTF, Craig. You can't ask questions like that after I've been hitting the Cooks all night.

I came to the same conclusion while I was living in Japan. For 4 years I lived on the top floor of a 6-story mid-rise. At least once a week I had to hook my garden hose up to the hot water outlet for the washing machine and "power-wash" my patio.

Disgusting little creatures....and their cooing will drive you crazy, too!

I was in Taiwan a decade ago and tried it...tasted like chicken, but with a LOT less meat on its bones. You'd need 3 pidgeons to have enough meat to equal a small chicken.

Pigeons are super tasty especially BBQed. Sort of like a small game hen. Fried with garlic jalepeno salt and white pepper is good too.

I just loved the way they make sweet and sour chicken in China. Put the whole frigging chicken on a chopping board and start chopping. Bones, cartlidge and all, it gets chopped into not so small pieces and thrown into the skillet.

You then get to put a bite of it from your ricebowl into your mouth, then separate the meat from the rest, all the while spitting the bones and chewy bits in another bowl or ground.

Not a whole lot like we have it here in the states or Europe!

In the area of Pennsylvania where my parents grew up, there is an annula "pigeon shoot" where they release and shoot live pigeons. I've sampled pigeon pot pie there....not bad, but not great.
