Yeah, that shot is opening day in 1957. They're celebrating the 50th anniversary next year and are looking for one of these 1958 Oldsmobiles. There were 113 of them and they had a special decal on the door. They haven't been able to find one anywhere!

I imagine an old Olds like that would really be worth a small fortune nowadays. Especially considering they're no longer making Oldsmobiles.

This is actually an extremely low-level version of a maneuver called "Walking The Dog." This video shows an F-16C doing the same stunt, but at a little higher altitude. You almost have to see it in person to appreciate the skill this takes.

a couple of those marushin scale engines had turned up on ebay some time ago. i seem to recall the last one took no bids at about $3k/. really cool though.

He jets down the runway and gets airborne, sucks up the gear
and when he is at the end of the runway he snatches the jet straight up. If he does it good enough the dirt on the runway with get blown in the air like a cloud of smoke.
