Chris, that's not the issue. The issue is a user with a large number of posts has been banned, and the posts are hidden. That's OK if it's a few posts, VBulletin does its redirect to an earlier page and everything is OK, but when said user has hundreds of posts in a 4600 page thread, it breaks. The only way to fix it is to wait until the ban is lifted, or remove the hidden posts from the thread.

As I predicted, once the user's ban elapsed, the "More Random Pics" thread works again, but a moderator locked it.

Or maybe not, but that's how I see it.

The user who was banned has 35,827 posts. He had over 500 in just that thread, search will only find the first 500. Hiding all of his posts messed up a lot of threads.

Sorry to complain thom, but yeah those jiffies do mess with overloaded computers and/or slow internetz.
