O.T. It's alive!!
Well, I'v had my 6 week visit woth my Orthopedic surgeon. and he let out a few loud, "WoW!" exclamations when looking at my x-rays.. he smiled at me and said stand up. So, I did. Then he said, "Walk Frank" So, I did that too.. Oh my god I can walk!! hahahehehee!!..
I'm a happy guy, I'm 5 months ahead of schedule as far as the healing goes, I can walk with a crutch or 2 or a cane with no discomfort at all.. So, I celebrated by driving my car.... man do I miss this thing.....I can't wait to get on my mountain bike and scare some chipmunks... Frank B |
congrats!!!

Thanks Will!!

Good, I'll bet getting back in thdr driver's seat felt good...

A month and a half early! Nice job. You'll never pass through a metal detector again without getting the wand.
I just read your earlier post and I have a Yakima rack on my 944 that carries 2 mountain bikes. Only problem is that all racks on a 944 will be too long to open the rear hatch all the way. The hatch glass will rest on the rear edge of the wheel tracks. I taped a sponge to the edge of the track and open the hatch slowly. |
congrats, dude. You're such a tough guy, I'm surprised you were out that long... ;)

THanks CJ.. Pearldrum
Hey PearlDrum.. Yakima makes (made) a rack?.. I'll have to get one.. the foam sounds like a great idea....Thanks.. |
divezic mentioned the rack. But I have seen a yakima rack for the '44 somewhere....
|
Holy crap Frank.............
Thats been a long time since you snapped them bones.... Nice to get back in the saddle.......... :) |
Cool! Now when you get bored, you can further celebrate by doing something like... 914 engine on that E & J :) :) :)
|
Here's to a speedy recovery!!
