Testing picture uploads - yesterday the pics were hosed somehow in the transfer.

The common elements now are the original pic's (but even that's not the case as I posted an old, previously posted correctly pic and it came out wrong now), the hub, the satellite router, or my ISP. I'll power cycle the hub first. and try from the other computer.

damn. Next, I'll try eliminating the hub by connecting directly from PC to satellite modem using a crossover cable.

so, the problem is either in the ISP-provided satellite modem, or in the ISP's infrastructure. My money is on the satellite modem.
