			yeah, you can tell in the original photo by the orientation of the rear fin. Lots of dolphins out around here (I see at least 10 or 20 every time I go out). I've never seen a shark except while diving in San Diego, and those were small Dogfish sharks. The dolphins seem to enjoy surfing...I've never seen a picture or any footage of a shark doing that. No dolphins down under Bill? | ||

			Yup we've got dolphins for miles.  The beach where I live a bunch (pod/happy family/gaggle) of about 200 come in a few times each day to round up the Kawai which is a sea fish that looks a bit like a salmon.  I've paddled out a few times but they completely ignore me.  When I was in South Africa they would do the surfing thing in waves and it was pretty wild to see a dolphin in the wave, pacing you, just below the surface.  This was in Port Elizabeth, just up the road from Jefferies Bay.  We get a few sharks but I think they have a heart of gold, they mean well, and arn't interested in humans at all.
