Have you ever used "Rhino Lining"???

I bought a new pickup a few months ago that came with a factory bedliner. I am not impressed with it (the liner, that is). I am looking into this rhino lining, bit I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experiences, good or bad with it. It's apparently permanent (or is it?) and I don't want to be disappointed.

Thank you,

Pete

I recently bought a truck where the previous owner had a spray on bedliner installed. I like it just fine. The biggest advantage over a plastic liner is that things don't slide around at every corner. I always keep a bunch of tie down straps in the cab, and have gotten used to strapping everything down real tight. I'm finding out that it's not as neccessary now as it was with my old truck with the plastic liner.

Wouldn't water get stuck under the Rhino liner and never get the chance to evaporate off, causing rust?

I used "herculiner" on my F250,its similar to the rhino liner. The stuff is great!! I performed a diy installation with a brush and roller. The finished material thickness is about 1/8". It is apparently realy rugged stuff. Ive seen a truck with a rhino liner bed I think its great stuff also..

The problem with the plastic drop in bed liners is water gets trapped under them, they shift and wear through the paint, and the bed rusts through eventually ( the only rust on my 200,000+ mile Toyata p/u was under the bed liner)

Bill the rhinoliner and herculiner are spray or brush on applications. From what I have read they are vinyl paints withrubber particles suspended in them. I doubt water could penetrate through 1/8-3/16" of the stuff.

BTW herculiner is made in NZ
