Good news for Windows music lovers.

Macintosh now makes iTunes for Windows. A free download. iTunes is an amazing application. Enjoy!

Have to say I love the "Hell Froze Over" headline. Wonder if they offer Eagles tunes on iTunes?

What format do the songs download? Is it MP3 or some proprietary to apple?

In other words, is it easy to make audio CDs, or a pain in the ass?

the file format is AAC, but it is trivial to burn audio CDs (iTunes takes care of that), as well as mp3 CDs. It really is dead simple...

There is supposedy an improvement in sound with AAC vs. MP3 -- without an increase in file size. I've been using iTunes for a good while since I am a Mac guy and it is a very nice [free] product. I've also gotten into the Apple Music Store. It is a great [tho still incomplete] source for music. a fun product all in all.
