Without a doubt, the most beautiful cars ever made. Well, up until that Countach thing. Then it went straight down the *****ter.

It is also 50 years for Corvette and 40 years for Mustang.

So who would win between the Porsche and Lambo tractors?

A tractor pulloff, I can't wait. RFDTV would love it!

Considering Lambo still makes tractors, it might not be a fair fight!!

This looks like a job for the SCWDP. They could even the playing field if anyone could. A 3.0 transplant? Or maybe R-Gruppe, an RS 2.7 transplant with a ducktail for ROP. A junkyard wars type shootout before taking on the Lambo. Get to work guys, the clock is ticking.

perfect testament to illustrate that you usually are more drawn towards what you grew up with. I myself lean more towards the (european) cars of the '70s and mostly '80s with their angular lines and modern shapes. the lambo falls into that category. and dare I say it here, to me the 951 is one of the most beautiful shapes ever. especially from the rear 3/4 view. on that list I'll also add the 911 turbo, (especially the 935) the Dauer 962, the BMW SIXes and the Ferrari 288 GTO. plus a bunch of others I'm too tired to list

My absolute favorite sports car era is the late 60s and early 70s. Sorry Ronin, I was born in 80 and have no interest in cars of the modern era (90+). But I sure love the "hips" on 944s and 911 Turbos.

Regarding Lambo Coun-dousches: a 1979 RX7 has more stylistic appeal than the Lambo. Tacked on wings, air scoops, and rivited-on fender flares just don't appeal to me unless the car is a real race car. The Countach is not and never was a race car.

That's my twisted belief.

as cool as the 917 is, I still like the lines of the 904. There is just something about that car...I think it is the ultimate siren song of the p-cars for me. Like a 356 from the very, very bad side of town.

but not in a mikez, sawazall kinda way

Well, all I can say is,
"Mmmmm..... 904.... Mmmmm"

I too, would rather have a 904. But the Miura's still my second choice!

Why are Ferraris so damned beautiful? They torment me. They even have a prettier version of Porsche's comeliest car:

Actually, I totally agree with your point. I'm probably attention-starved and wanted to raise my hand in the air and say, "I'm different."
