well I would never use it and I doubt many 944 guys would, because the truth is that most of us want 911s but can't afford them. There, I said it.

Z-man 10-30-2003 08:22 AM

Please don't generalize "the 944 guys" like that. Yes, there are some bad apples in the 944 crowd, but I've seen my share of stuck-up, idiotic 911 moron owners too.

Personally, I find people that do that kinda stuff don't understand the true essence of Porsche ownership. All Porsches are engineered to the highest level: P-car owners who mock or look down own other cars within this marque are simply uneducated and stupid.

Ok, I'll get off my soapbox.
-Zoltan.

PS: I never met a 911 on the track that I passed that I didn't like! :p

singpilot 10-30-2003 08:49 AM

I have both, but I don't think that avatar speaks for the many 944 owners I have met.

Besides that, that little guy's thang is really little. I don't know that I would have advertised that.

Those Calvin things really bug me. When I see one on any car, I just assume the owner is a maroon...kind of like the guys with the 22" rims on the Ford Explorers.

Did that sound judgemental? :D

BlueSkyJaunte 10-31-2003 04:17 PM

"Maroon" is a far more diplomatic term than the one I was going to use! :D

Come to WA and virtually every freking pickup truck and most SUV's has either the Calvin pissing on everything from Jesus to other Calvin's or the "FOX" (fox motocross equipment) logo plastered on the back- Add a license place frame says "my other ride is your girlfriend / boyfriend / wife / husband " whatever and you too will look like a NW local.

It's no longer different, it's the norm. I'm so sick of those things.

ronin 11-02-2003 11:06 AM

reminds me of the 80s and that whole stupid Bad Boyz Club thing. I also seem to remember something annoying with a palm tree

Drago 11-02-2003 11:39 AM

Fear This!

buncha knuckleheads...

Don't forget the "My Son/Daughter was inmate of the month at Monroe State Prison".

Luv those.

ronin 11-02-2003 12:23 PM

hehe, remember those too. generally, one thing I noticed that as the intellect of the driver increases, the frequency of bumper stickers decreases
