Just got back for Matrix Revolutions. The 911 is an early "E". Great paint job.

Revolutions was way better than the number 2. The movie does have a plot that makes sense, everyone seems to have missed it. First, Mr. Smith and Neo are both programs. That's why when smith kills off neo in the martrix at the end, smith auto-de-fey's as well. Kind of a yen-yan think. Trinity appears after her death in the real world as the black cat. Sati represents a reincarnation of Trinity in the real world. At the end we see Sati (the little indian girl) supine after neo is deleated. The machines stop the attack because they know the humans can control the matrix. The oracal and the artictect are both reincarnations of the Smith and Neo. The whole thing ends at the foot of the Emeral City, kink of a Wizard of Oz. The Oracal, the Samuri, and Sati all live happily ever after.

Only questions is why did they switch Oracals?

Just my take on "Matrix Revolutions"

The 911 is sweet. I like the two lesbo's getting out too nice touch. As for the end, I was left with a kind of uh feeling. Neo becoming jesus at the end was tacky too. Dying for our sins??? As for the changing of the oracle, they had no choice. The actress who played the original and better oracle had died before they filmed the third movie. Still worth seeing again though, I'm sure I'll pick up more details on the next round. Too bad hot monica bellucci had only one line and you dont see much more than her awesome cleavage.

Monica Bellucci is the only reason to see this movie.

SH$t I just read through some of this post and now I know something about the revolution movie That I did not need to know. I have not seen it yet so I stoped reading as soon as the plot was being explained.

Why do you say it's an E? Me thinks it's an S and a SWB one at that. The tailight lens are see thru rather than frosted.

Of coz, it was only a couple of secs and I could be wrong. After all, I was in the first row in the cinema and being uncomfortable from craning my neck is an understatement... Hehe...

But seeing the 911 made my day! :)

I guess i'm alone hear when i say that i liked the second one just as much as the first one. Oh well, guess you have to be a sci-fi nerd.
you are NOT ALONE! i think people didn't like the 2nd one because they expected too much. first matrix was revolutionary and they expected another revolution in Reloaded. i think that it was a good sequel to the first one... my complaint for Revolutions is that the fighting scenes... although choreographed very well, were too long. but what do i know?! i only have a graduate in performance arts... just kidding, but i had you there for a second.

cheers,
serge

The actress playing the Oracle in 1 & 2 died of complications related to diabetes during the shooting.

I like your analysis.

I apologize for this being off porsche topic, but hopefully this can end any confusion had here. Just to clarify, this is whats up with the matrix, not my opinion but what REALLY is going on, so don't read if you haven't seen the third one.

And by the way, the porsche in Rev. was supernice.

Anyways

The matrix was created to harbor humans for their power and keep them alive longer in their comatose state. The matrix program is based on an equation, a superlong code, and that equation has a small remainder. That remainder results in "the one", an anomoly within the matrix that can do the "weird stuff".

Since the architect can never create a perfect code, he has to allow for the anomoly, which DOES threaten to destroy the matrix. The Zion resistance is necessary for the balance as well. So when "the one" reaches peak power, the architect offers him an option. Zion will be destroyed and the matrix will be completely reset, but "the one" may take some 15 people and restart Zion. This has happened 6 times before Neo, with 6 different matrices and 6 different "the ones", all choosing to allow complete reset (as opposed to destruction of all human race) With Neo, unlike the 6 "the ones" before him, love got in the way, screwed things up, and we have what happened in Revolutions, except in the end, with Trinity dead, Neo decides to go along with the architect after all, and allow the matrix to be reset.

There were no reincarnations of any sort, those previous people are simply dead and gone, new similar ones will come along as the cycle continues for an 8th time now. The architect meets with the Oracle at the end to confirm that all is well and the cycle can be restarted. The Oracle now must assist the new "the one" to reaching peak power so that the cycle can continue, and the architect understands this.

How much longer before this goes OT???

wrx paul 11-06-2003 10:01 AM

Matt, I disagree on a few points. Not to argue a point, just to help each other in things we might have missed. I think the equation thing is on the right track but not like that. I think the anomoly exists since 99.9% of the people in the matrix buy it but some have minds that will not. Therefore explaining how the oracle thinks we must have the illusion of choice to accept it. This is how the one exists, he doesn't buy the illusion. Since the architect creates things in an equal sense, Neo must have an opposite = smith. Now smith, once aware he can control things like Neo can he gets out of control. Thats where Neo comes in, making a deal with the source. If he sacrifices himself to smith, one cannot exists without the other. So by dying for the good of man (Jesus) he can achieve peace and save mankind. No more versions of the matrix since the oracle asks the architect what happens to the ones who want out and he says "I'll have to free them" she asks if he is lying and he says "I'm not human" So I think the matrix will exist for those who don't like the real world (cypher?) and the ones who chose freedom will be the new Zion and the rest of the world if they can coexist with the machines.
