Roasted Mercedes SL55

Me? Well, I'd be plenty pissed...

Some guy decided to have a bbq with his Weber grill in the parking lot of the Carrier Dome. He left the hot coals in a pile of leaves in the gutter in front of a bunch of parked cars with predictable results...

Did anyone notice that a good chunk of the burnt fender is missing. Does the new SL use glass for the fenders?

Firefighter recently told me this is very common at tailgate partys.

Some of the less bright attendants throw the coals under the cars when BBQ time is over. When the hot coals set on/near a tire the coal ignites it. He recently put out six cars (one incident) as a result of this.

Either the fenders are fiberglass, or someone used magnesium in the grill.
