Guys, guys, guys...ya got it all wrong.

It's not DARK, it's BLACK...as in "as BLACK as BLACK can be"...or something like that.

Sorry, no eqn. to support it..but there is this movie I can badly quote from. I was friends with the directors uncles nephew once...but just that once. ;)

did you just pull that eqn out of yer butt and re-arrange it?

The proper form is:

L=FC/(cf*e^hp)

"L" is not for "Luggage". . ."L" is for Lutfisk . .. "lg" is for "Luggage".

"cf" is for "cooling factor"
"e" is for "elements(natural)"
"hp " is "heap"

. . .and then, of course, "FC" is for "Fish Carcase."

dude, if yer gunna use an eqn, pick the right one.
sheesh!

Oh, and Boeing didnt design the L-1011 POS.

Wrong, and Wrong!

Its: L=FC/cf*[Ac*Cn]^hp

Ac = Amtrak Coefficient
Cn = Number of Cars

You guys left out the most vital part of the equation. Whenever Train Compression is calculated, one must factor in the Ac (Amtrak coefficient). Everyone knows that Amtrak is the leader in "Compressing" trains. Geeez, That is year-one stuff people, c'mon!

Spoken like a true Amtrack user!

OK, I'll stipulate that I don't know what he orders to eat, but if he's eating train food, his next order will be Pepto.

BTW, I'm convinced there is a battery of tests that one must fail in order to be hired by Amtrak.

IAN: The moment we've all been waiting for...Here we go, plenty for everybody...here you are.

DAVID: I never thought I'd see...I never thought I'd live to see the day.

IAN:What do you think?

DEREK: Is this the test pressing?

IAN: No, this is it, yes, that's right...

DAVID: This is "Smell The Glove" by Spinal Tap....

IAN: That's "Smell The Glove" that's, that's the jacket cover, it's going out across the country in every store.

DAVID: This is the compromise we made...this is the compromise you made?

IAN: Yes.

DEREK: Is it going to say anything here, or here along the spine?

DAVID: It's not going to say anything?

IAN: No, it's not going to say anything.

NIGEL: It's going to be like this, all black...

IAN: No, it's going to be that simple, beautiful, classic! ?: Does look a little bit like, you know, black leather...

DEREK: You can see yourself in... both sides.

DAVID: I feel so bad, I feel so bad about this...

NIGEL: It's like a black mirror.

DAVID: Well, I think it looks like death...it looks like mourning. I mean it looks...

IAN: DAVID, DAVID, every, every movie, in every cinema is about death; death sells!

NIGEL: I think he's right, there is something about this, that's that's so black, it's like; "How much more black could this be?" and the answer is: "None, none... more black."

DAVID: I think, like you've, like rationalizing this whole thing like into something you did on on purpose. I think we're stuck with a very, very stupid and a very, and a very dismal looking album, this is depressing.

NIGEL: DAVID!

DAVID: This is something you wear around your arm, you don't put this on your ****ing turntable.

NIGEL: DAVID, it's a choice.

IAN: I frankly think that this is the turning point, okay? I think, I think this is...we're on our way now.

NIGEL: I agree, I agree...

The Pope? Richard Nixon?

tabs 11-28-2003 10:19 PM

These are NO pseudo intellectuals they is the real thing.

"God made idiots first, for practice, then he made intellectuals". Mark Twain

I tried to say something pithy, but I am at a loss for words, so I deleted it all. You know I can't tell the difference between Kansas and OZ anymore. They are both filled with Munchkins. Boards full of them to be exact, but thats another story. The one thing I am proud of though are the Ruby Slippers Dorothy left me when she went back to Kansas. All I have to do is tap them 3 times...

vash 11-28-2003 10:33 PM

maybe my math is wrong, but i find dark is actually fast.

you sir are a genius
obviously the passenger ordered fried parsley flakes with a side of frozen mayonaise. because if you keep foldin the samwich it breaks
the speed of dark is 0
thank you and goodnight

tabs 12-01-2003 01:21 PM

I GOT IT....The speed of Darkness is LUCAS ELECTRICS

nostatic 12-01-2003 01:49 PM

no, that is the path to darkness, not the speed. In this case, velocity is path-independent. Or maybe path-democratic...I don't know how it registered last election.

tabs 12-01-2003 01:52 PM

No if you buy Lucas you sure are speeding awfull fast down that path though.

cstreit 12-01-2003 05:51 PM

ROFL..

"...none more black..."

Haven't heard that line in a while!
