Street Racing to Drag Strip
This is a new drag strip being built about an hour + east of LA. Drag strip article
Do you think it will have any real impact on street racing in So CA?

not until it's built inner city, cheap, and open on saterday nights and maybe even every day at night.

It is planned to be open all week (+ weekends) and nights and cost about $20 (per run I would think). Not to bad if you ask me, although they may have to put off some stickers and under chassis lights to pay to race.
 They come from all over to race the industrial streets of Ontario, this wouldn't be too much further. I also doubt it will curb street racing but with these kind of places at least they have the option. And if I ever want to abuse my transmission (doubt it) I have a place to go too.
