www.Slickdeals.net ... They report on coupon/rebate deals for lots of products. How about a 256 gig 7200 RPM/ HD for $89? I'm springing for the 2.4 Ghz Dell....$323!! Directly from Dell.

Be careful with Dell....in my experience if you have a problem you'll never get any resolution. If you send in a return you will will never get your refund.

I've had just the opposite experience with Dell.
Without any additional "warrenty" Dell fixed every little persnikity problem that came up. . .and they did it quickly.

I've had positive experiences with Dell Desktops. Laptops leave much to be desired.

Laptops - read the Dell thread about the various laptops that Dell offers. Even Porsche had their extremes - lets see, a 924 (Inspiron) or a 930 (Latitude), humm, the 924 is so much cheaper...and its a Dell...

You have to look in the forums area. Many posters will advise on rebates and tricks to get discounts on different products. The initial poster figures $105...I figured $89. Either way it's a great price for the drive.

I love slickdeals. You've got to check the site regularly as some of the deals don't last very long.

Recently I made $15 by buying a CDRW drive I saw on slickdeals and selling it on eBay.
