911's athletic equivalent

Id say it would be this guy. Short, muscular, great lines, very quick and agile, maybe not the fastest off the line but possesses great break-away speed... handles like he is on rails, great vision... flashy and stylish but also very workmanlike and reliable....durable and dependable...but also a bit quirky and unpredictable...

Good equivalent. Problem is, Barry left The Lions high and dry, and unless one has a 911 that just up and quits, your analogy loses a little magnitude.

I liken the 911 to good backs, though. Ricky Henderson would definitely be a GT3. Fast, cuts, and will knock you down, hard.

Now, now Blue - don't drop down to our level...

P.S.: admit it; you're really a closet Canadian Football League fan.

Absolutely. Who was the back that played for Minnesota about three or four years back, and simply "quit" to go on to become a doctor? He was pre-med in college. h

It goes to show there is intelligence within the league, despite what some think.

Is Canadian Football like soccer or "American" football?

I honestly don't know.

Having played soccer in my mis-spent youth I could probably stand to watch it.

Blue - Canadian football, as far as I know, uses a moving offensive line and a 110-yard field. There are some other rules variations between that and American football, but I'm not sure what they are.

American football has a motionless offensive line with the exception of one man in motion, and uses a 100-yard field.

I'll teach you and Thom this if you guys want to go to a game sometime. I like Raiders games myself. Sometimes manslaughter occurs in the stands. Um Um
