I want to bid, pay the man and then hire someone to take it away to the dump. This guy just gave me one of the best laughs of my life. Totally awesome ad.

trj911 12-17-2003 05:11 AM

I love it! LOL!

roGERK 12-17-2003 05:25 AM

His previous auction is almsot as good:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2442354423

I've had to postpone a serious telephone call because I was slightly hysterical from laughing too much and the tears rolling down my cheeks were upsetting my co-workers...

Anyone who really knows eBay knows where this guy is coming from and he is exactly right. SOOOOOOOOOOO glad someone said it. Wish I could pay him to make this a "featured" auction so more can see it.

JC930 12-17-2003 05:34 AM

About as straight forward as you can get. Seems to be pretty honest huh?

magilla 12-17-2003 05:37 AM

I can't tell which to do first- wipe the tears from my eyes or run to the bathroom and pee.

That IS the funniest thing I have seen on the web.

Ray 911s 12-17-2003 05:39 AM

I want to hire this guy to write an ad for my thermal reactors!

Jim Richards 12-17-2003 06:12 AM

Remeber that guy selling the Honduh with the plywood tail?

Joe Bob 12-17-2003 06:40 AM

He pulls no punches....wonder if ebay gets an extra fee for joke ads?

juanbenae 12-17-2003 06:45 AM

the 1st one must be supersoaker powered,, i had that unit a couple summers ago..

jester911 12-17-2003 06:50 AM

That is some seriously funny *****. I have always liked the humor the Brits have. That guy has to be a piece of work.

I think I will save that page just to get a laugh now and again:D
Maybe we should ask to get a ppi and leakdown on that thing;)

echrisconnor 12-17-2003 07:07 AM

I'd like to ask him a question like "what flavor does the frame come in?" just to hear his response.

RickM 12-17-2003 07:18 AM

Funny....60k hits and going strong.

Jeremy Cottrell 12-17-2003 07:24 AM

I have some old Targa glass he could help sell. How about worn out spark plugs??

Kurt B 12-17-2003 07:30 AM

Holy moley, the second one is funnier than the first, I'm dying with this:
Speaking of which, this is a re-listing because the winning bidder last time was a decerebrate turnip who was able to click on buttons and hit the numbers keys, but unable to read web pages, and didn't realise that he was 200 miles away. "I dint no (sic) where you lived" read his email. Well done, astragsi999: in addition to having the saddest username on Ebay, you've now got a feedback rating of minus one and a Non-Paying Bidder stripe against your record. Welcome to our Quadrant of the Galaxy. Beep. Yes, we play rough on Planet Earth sometimes
