Maybe people who choose silver while buying a car are more conservative. They didn't seem to have much of an explanation of why it was so that silver was safer. I don't think the study was complete and it was New Zealanders studied exclusively. Thus, may not be true in the US. Years ago, I heard that silver/gray cars were hard to see at twilight and as such, were involved in a disproportionate number of crashes.

The study didn't go into the types of cars either. To get a true control, only one brand/type of car should be studied. This study needs a lot of work. Why do people do this anyway? Jeez. if I could get a grant for such folley..........

No Zeke. Silver cars are just safer.

That's what the study said. ...and it's a STUDY fer cryin' out loud... That's right up there on the "must be true" scale with "I read in an article once..."

Not only that, it's a study published on the internet - so it's GOT to be true!
