Southern California Fishing Nuts, Help!
OK, have decided that the best gift I can give my 2 p-car mechs is a day off.
One of them is a deep sea fishing nut, the other is a fresh water river/lake nut. I know that Calif. F&G has closed a lot of SoCal to offshore fishing, but that the San Diego boats still get to Intl. waters for game fish. Anyone have a reccomendation for a boat / overnight trip there? The other guy might be tougher. These are real avid enthusiasts, and I wouldn't want to embarass them by giving them something stupid. I guess I could just ask them, but I know someone here has some ideas. I think they have all the equipt they need. Thanks in Advance. |

there isnt a single fisherman that has all the equipment they will ever need. go big! get them a gLoomis fishing rod! well maybe not the salty water guy, that would be way too big$$$.

No advice on the deep sea, but aren't the various licences with the extra tags getting pricey? Could you get the freash water guy a trout tag? I haven't fished for years, so I'm just fishing around here a bit for an answer.

Yeah, you can see how this gets thorny. The first thing the sales guy says is what kind of equipt. do they have now? SIDK...... (ShuteIDon'tKnow). I'll come up with something.
Thanks guys.....
