unequal justice?
 

reading and commenting on the martha stewart thread got me thinking? why all the double standards in the judicial system?

for example: rush limbaugh gets caught with a kings ransoms worth of illegal painkillers. enough to be considered not only a user, but a seller. he gets to go to treatment, and the fat bastard is back on the radio. he used to say, all the drug users should be thrown outta the country. what a friggen hypocrit.!!
courtney love gets caught with a fraction of the same illegal drug, and she is waiting for her trial.

what gives?

I agree, put them all on a chain gang work crew!

Like it or not, Rush has political power, few are willing to take on.

He's also smart enough to 'fess-up . . .that limits what they can nail him with. And, what fun would nailing him be? If a lawer wants a big case, the accused needs to be seen putting up a fight.

Martha, guilty or not, has already compounded her problems by making potentially "false statements" (remember Clinton)

Martha makes people look better. Rush makes people look like buttholes. Rodney King has 3.5 million people under his thumb...
