Ebay seller's question
Alright, I've been acumulating 911 parts and other junk for years now, and I want to try and sell some of it on ebay. The only problem I have is they want either a bank account number or my SSN and my driver's license # to verify I am who I say I am. Now I don't have a problem handing over my credit card # on an encrypted page, because I can always dispute the issue through my card company. But I worry about the other items getting into the wrong hands.
So I guess my question to the ebay sellers out there is, do you worry about those issues at all? Or do you just sign up & don't think twice? TIA |

I do not remember having to give that information out but then again, I registered some 3 or 4 years ago. Not sure I'd give them my SSN but I would not be afraid of giving them my license... but it's funny that they'd ask for that.
Why don't you offer the goodies up to us Pelicanheads first?

The Porsche items I will, but I have a lot of BB chevy & Mopar stuff, along with numerous other things collecting dust around here I want to sell.

That was one the options I was thinking about. I know it's pretty safe, I just always worry about jag-offs getting ahold my info.
