unlucky ricer

tv show bout antisocial drivers :

cops pull over a VW Polo doing 170km/h average

no drivers licence > car impounded
car scrapes the rail where the gate is running in cause it's so low

the dude shows up at the police station, presents licence, licence revoked

buddy of dude drives dude in his ricer polo home
then the rail needs to be crossed

CLUNK !!!
stuck

pedal to the metal Polo drives off
exhaust pipes don't
also a pool of liquid

cops laughing there asses off, calling the dude who is stranded about 3/4 mile away with no fuel cause the tank got ruptured

lost drivers licence
got pretty hefty fines
car trashed
and having it all shown on tv

i'de say it wasn't a good day for the dude

Sounds like a plan, way to much salt on the roads now. How is the nose job coming along and who is doing it?

svandamme 12-31-2003 01:40 AM

the nose is stripped to the chassis,
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1072867307.jpg
the horrible paint job it got is showing up badly , chipped paint , rubber around window seal shrunk by the cold so the old paint job now shows underneith .. i'll continue stripping all the electrics and redo the wiring, then clean the chassis/and all bit's and pieces, i'll also need to either fix or replace the

and the

and maybe the right door lower sheet metal

the car is @ porsche-cc.nl , i rent a place and do most of it myself, the welding will be done by Kees from Porsche-CC

i'll drop the engine for a couple of oil leak fixes

dunno in what shape the car will be 50 75 or 90 % of the restore ready
but she'll be drivable, maybe not with a fully perfect paint job or 100% oil leak free, but she'll run :D
