Wrong place to ask

Well, I know this is a Porsche Web site and all. But many of you have a large collection of other cars so Im gonna post this here.
I currently have a toyota 2.7L 4cyc engine for sale. The head has been rebuilt, new valve seals and a fresh valve grind. it has also been checked for cracks and any warpage. A new headGasket was installed. The engine is in good condition and I believe it came from a 98 tacoma with approx. 65,000 miles on it. If anyone has any questions about the engine or if you know anyone who wants to buy it let me know. Thanx alot guys

toyota made a 2.7l 4-banger?
i thought their 4-bangers were never more than 2 liters

no they have many versions of 4 cyc. but only 2 for the trucks. The pickup had a 2.4 liter and the Tacoma came with a more powerful 2.7liter 16valve

so if I buy this, and drop it in my 03 taco - with the 2.7, can I use the supercharger? The SC only goes up to 01 models...

Might not be legal. In most states if you swap an engine, the new engine needs to be the same age as the chassis or newer. This varies of course, so you'd need to check around.

Plus, the S/C engine probably had different heads or pistons to reduce the compression ratio and make it handle the forced induction better.
