The rear section of this crap looks slightly like a 944...at least reminds me of that.
Btw,he donīt ask for too much,it would be funny to drive around with this rust machine.

Anyone ever have the chance to drive one I did, it was a hoot. A very comfortable touring car, with so many electric features for it's year. And of course the 360 Hemi under the hood hooked to a 3 speed transmission good for a 7 second 0-60 run, the car quicker even at higher speeds. Some even came with the hemi big block.
All in all: American Horsepower good / Lucas electronics bad

That is siezure-inducingly hilarious, when the British are funny, they are very funny indeed. And this writer is definitely from the U.K., if not Britain.
![]() I have had the chance to drive several of these, having worked at a large British Leyland dealer as a "car runner" in 1975 @ age 16. My job was to move cars around, and of course we always moved them a little further than necessary if they had a lot of HP. ![]() The Jenson Interceptor, (for anyone who gives a rat's ass), never came w/ a 360. The early ones were 383s, like this one, then they had 440s. Both of these are Chrysler (Mopar) big-blocks, but neither is a "hemi". The displacement of the hemi motor in those days was 426 c.i., and earlier it was 392 c.i. Completely different motors. The 440 cars that I drove were pretty nice, actually, heavy and luxurious but capable of roasting rear tires at will. A 440 in any car, no matter how heavy, can get scary in a hurry. "Whiskey bottle, brand new car, oak tree you're in my way." ![]() His discription is doubly funny to me because I always considered the Jenson Interceptor to be one of the better cars in our shop because at least it had a dependable, lump-of-iron, good ole 'Murican engine and tranny. Has anyone ever seen a Triumph Stag on the road? Most were crushed within a year or two of manufacture. ![]()

nice Lynyrd Skynyrd reference Denis
![]() That is probably the funniest ad I've ever read. There have been some good ones posted here, but this one is soooooo droll. I especially like the terms of sale: For starters, you can get it out of my driveway. |

My neighbor growing up had a a black one with a 440. I always loved the growl of the BB Mopars.
Funny a$$ ad though. |

"Jensen built over 6000 Interceptors, continually developing and debugging the model for nearly ten years until it almost wasn't horrible. Alas, this is an extremely early example, so it's horrible in every conceivable way.
Granted, as the 180th Interceptor ever made, this right-hand-drive '67 Type I could be worse. The first few dozen of these overheating, pig-handling, self-immolating rustbuckets came with Vignale-built bodies of such staggeringly poor quality that the ENGLISH wouldn't accept them, which is saying quite a mouthful. Even as it is, this British-built version was apparently made from an alloy of salt, wet newspapers, and tuna cans. The front floors, both sills, most of the exterior front bodywork, and the left doorpost are all shot; the inner front fenders and box sections have taken a similar stroll across the periodic table, as have the lower parts of all four outer fenders. The hood, while fairly free of corrosion, appears to have been run over by a monster truck." "Stroll across the periodic table" ![]() ![]() This is some seriously funny ****

Funny ad. I have always been fond of the Interceptors--one of the first production cars with AWD(the FFs) and I think the cabs look classic.
