Seinfeld Get a Ford

I was doing some channel surfing when I saw Jery on "Celebrities Uncensored" on the E channel. Well I really wasn't really surfing, I occasionaly tune in...well I watch it all the time...I can't miss an episode.

Well anyway there was Jerry with his pristine white 911R, and he couldn't get it started. One of the Photographers brought his car up and they tried to jump start the 911R...no go...so Jery called the toe truck... Jery get a Ford and you won't have these problems. Like your Mother says get a nice reliable American car.

Also they showed Rene Zellnegger having her 996 toed to...whats with these Porsche's? All show and NO GO!!!!

A reliable Ford? Those cars are some of the biggest pieces of S#?T on the road. They don't care about quality, they just care about sales numbers.

Dam Bob you gave my secret away...ah I've bin around the block with Targa before on another Board...but we have a common interest..like anybody who has Airdales can't be all BAD. Just had the Big Boy Weighted 116.8 LBS. The girls at 63 lbs.

I've had GOOD LUCK with my Fords...the F150 and Ranger before it. Sure a lot less problems than Jery was having....Now if you want a car company I hate it's GM...Thats the only car I've seen where pieces will fall off just driving down the road.

Should we dare put a Ford vs. Chevy poll on the board?

Ford vs. Chevy ... on a Porsche board? I have a better idea, why don't we poll Jerusalem on whether they'd like to be ruled by the Palestinians or the Assyrians? After that, just for fun, we can poll the local Republicans on whether they'd vote for Hillary Clinton or Al Gore.

As if we didn't already have enough Holy Wars on this board... (grin)

Shouldn't there first be a poll as to whether or not we actually want a poll?

Ford vs Chevy is like saying "do you want to die by drowning or fire?" Besides Fords aren't more reliable-they're just disposable. Drive it for 3-5 yrs and when the warranty runs out, dump it for a new one. Its like paper plates (and Porsche is fine china).

In the 13 years I drove that Ranger I was toed twice. Once for a battery that 'gassed" itself, and once for the electronic ignition. The total cost of maintence on the truck was just under $6000....including tires and, battery's. I had @ 175,000 miles on the Ranger and it was still running strong when I decided to buy a new F150. So it was a good trouble free truck, which by the way my F150 is matching.
