the parents of a friend of mine growing up were porno stars, Im serious.

It is not as glamourous or "cool" as you might think.

Most of the chicks really arent that good looking up close... especially Jenna Jameson.

This is the first I have heard about it. But probably no. I really can't stand these so called "reality" based shows.

I'm still fascinated by how many people in the industry are really just regular ol' folks with families. I've known a few "stars" too, but mostly behind-the-scenes people. To them it's just a job.

I dunno..

THe "I'm going to marry a big fat obnoxious guy" holds some appeal, like slowing down for a train wreck...

I'm not sure about the other... :rolleyes: If you want to see a sad cross-section of America, just watch "Springer"...

But on this same topic, a girl who went to the same high school as my husband was in that industry and was murdered. I think they even did a made for tv movie about it but I can't remember her name. Very sad....:(.

I wonder how many of these "reality" shows are in fact scripted.

Im going to guess ALL of them.

Although ti sort of intriguing to watch the new Surreal Life...

Wasnt that movie with George C. Scott? Pretty funny watching him get all vigilante on their asses...

The whole John Holmes/Wonderland Avenue murder thing was pretty creepy. I still get a strange feeling driving up around there.

IMO: reality shows can't be too real if they're scripted, which I believe they are.

The stuff never interested me.

"Hardcore" was the movie. Great flick! Real emotional. It would get any decent person pissed off.

I thought it was hysterical. Premise.. George C. Scott's daughter runs awayt from typical midwest home to California to become a porno star. Patton goes to Hollywood to regulate..

Young Frankenstein's monster played the cop in that movie, too.

Don - Tim said there were 1 maybe 2 movies made about the story but he can't remember the names either. The gal's stage name was Shauna Grant. I guess they ruled it a suicide but she was shot in the face and her mother said she was too vain and would never have done anything to her face....

a girl that i banged in high school was in porn. i had heard a bit about it, then one day im watching some porn and wallah, there she is. she dint let me do the things she was having done to her in that flick. it was just plain ol strait missionary position with her and i. in the flick she was getting it all over and under. seems like she liked it more on film then we we were in the back seat of my 66 plymouth fury.
