don't look if you're cold

so what *do* you do at 3pm in the afternoon in the middle of January? Ride bikes at the beach, of course
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1073785192.jpg
And watch where you're going
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1073785237.jpg
if you're brave hit the water
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1073785266.jpg
and watch it set

Thule for me as well.

nostatic 01-10-2004 05:04 PM

so do you Thule roof? I've still got a Yakima I use on the 4-runner, but it doesn't have the towers for gutters.

at sundown today,
12deg air temp.
42deg water temp.
I use M&B Wetsuits, custom made in Long Beach Calif, for free diving or SCUBA..
I'm good for about 50min at 38deg/ 30feet underwater.
my board needs work. I also want to stripe it with 1962 356 Ruby Red because I have extra.

PS: the view is arcoss NYC Hudson River traffic lanes, the Verazianno Br. is unseen to the right.. the far side in NJ Highlands. in the center of the NJ Highlands area is a small verical post. It is the Ambrose Light Tower 3/4 distance across water that's marking the entrance to NYC Harbor

-3 here today, -15 windchill. with AVS 100s on the Saab, if it sits for a while, it feels like you have a flat as you drive away... whump, whump, whump, until they warm up a mile away and go round.

tried to get into the project car today... door was frozen shut.

glad to be in SF next week.

LeeH 01-10-2004 05:39 PM

79 here in Phoenix today... shorts, t-shirts, and a/c in the car! Same for tomorrow.

BlueSkyJaunte 01-10-2004 05:57 PM

No kidding...that desert sun is BRUTAL.

Joeaksa 01-10-2004 06:13 PM

I almost had to turn the A/C on in the house! Ran the spa for 30 minutes and it was warm, and charged the clorine in the pool... ready for burgers and beer tomorrow!

Its rough the 9 months out of the year that we have to put up with this terrible weather here in Arizona. :)
